Introduction

You’ve always heard that you are the creator of your life.

*ahem* That’s absolutely true.

You can literally come out of a bad situation by using your mind.

Seems ridiculous, right? But it isn’t.

Let’s be honest, we spend a considerable amount of time creating scenarios in our minds. I know I have, that’s my favorite thing to do.

It started as an escape from this world when I was living in a toxic situation.

With time, I came to realize that everything I would create would, in some shape or form, materialize.

That’s when I knew I was sitting on a freaking gold mine!

One of the biggest examples I can give you was finding my husband.

I used to see him back when I was a freshman in college and he was a sophomore.

He was so dreamy (and still is), and I created so many scenarios about the two of us.

I even planned our living arrangement before he knew my name.

By the way, I did not even know his name for like three months before we exchanged numbers.

This all happened in my mind!

Unknowingly using the mind.

I can tell you that everything came to be as I had ‘seen’ it.

Even the first date he took me to was as I imagined it. It was so unreal.

At the time, I was just a girl in love and did not know that I literally built that reality or myself.

This was 6 years ago.

Over the past month, I’ve reflected on hurdles I have overcome and things/situations I have called into my life, all because of this simple habit.

If these mindset hacks worked for me, try them out; it might work wonders for you.

But most importantly, as you ‘create,’ believe as if you were already in that reality that you want

Trust me, you’ll have a way easier life than you already have now.

Let’s dive into it.

1. Remain calm and do not worry (even though it is sometimes impossible to do)

The thing that most people do not know is that worrying just makes everything worse.

I mean, it gets to a point where you just feel overwhelmed.

Remaining calm is not just something you can whip out of thin air.

You create it!

The good news is that it is easy to do when you intentionally do it.

Think of it this way –

When you worry, you are literally creating with your brain.

So, the same situation that you want to go away will become even bigger.

This is all because you are giving it the wrong type of energy.

Before I knew this hack, I would worry about things like not making enough money.

Let me tell you the truth, heh!

The more I worried, the more I struggled to make ends meet.

But it got to a point where I let go of the worries, and everything fell right in.

It was like I was keeping out everything because I worried that it was not there.

And that was exactly what I got – the lack of it!

When I finally realized it, I thought, what if I continue to do this, but replace the worrying with more positive thoughts, and create scenarios of what I wanted?

You won’t believe it!

Within about four months of implementing this, everything was so smooth.

It was almost unbelievable.

I had an easier life just by flipping that switch.

Please try it out and see how your life will literally become easier, and you’ll be happier.

This does not have to apply to the ‘big’ things.

It works in every sector that you choose to apply it to.

2. Try thinking of the outcome you want (don’t catastrophize)

I have mentioned before – create the scenarios you want in your life.

Catastrophizing can be an easier option.

It’s just thinking on a downward spiral of an outcome for whatever it is you’re in.

For instance, you might have gone to a job interview and you just got out.

Then the self-doubt and overthinking start creeping in.

After this, you think of how you did so badly that they will never call you.

Learn to challenge these patterns because, honestly, they don’t help at all.

I have been there and I can tell you that it is such an exhausting way to live life.

Instead, think of the end result you want.

Using the same example of the job interview, you can think o how you are being oriented in that company.

By thinking this, your mind will interpret that you have already gotten the role.

Things will be much easier, and with this positive thinking, you call in that opportunity.

Even though they might call and tell you they chose someone else, think of the positives.

At least you got to hone your interview skills.

Or better yet, it’s not the end, and there are so many other places that would scramble to have you on their team.

When you adopt such thinking, you have an easier life.

Your energy will not go into creating catastrophic scenarios that do not help you.

So, literally create the outcomes you want before they even happen.

3. Find solutions, if not possible, and create them in your mind; they’ll find you.

When in a fix, try to find a solution.

However, it’s not always that these solutions come to us.

With that said, imagine the solution.

You might say, “Diabolical, how can this even work?!”

I am not saying that you should just imagine everything and do nothing.

After all, creating these scenarios will help you come up with ideas that can solve things.

Think of it like some type of positive brainstorming.

When approaching a problem, we try to come up with something to make things better.

We are designed that way.

A solution will find you only if you are on its path.

Read that again.

You cannot wait for it to fall from the sky.

Positioning is everything.

This mindset hack works because if you solve issues in your life, the obvious result is that it will be easier.

4. Deep breaths (kind of cliché, but it works)

A man enjoys outdoor relaxation and mindfulness beneath a bright, cloudy sky, exuding calm and peace.

This is the most obvious and cliché hack, but it works.

Breath work works wonders, and you have to find what works best for you.

I have always found that in moments of frustration or anxiety, taking a deep breath helps me right away.

It is not necessarily a mindset thing, but it is an indirect path to a better mindset.

Taking a deep breath is so relaxing.

It helps clear your mind and body.

Which is exactly what you need to live easily and think better.

Deep breaths work, and make everything better.

Whenever you feel out of it, take deep breaths.

It’s like as you exhale, all the bad energy and emotions go out with that breath.

I am no scientist or psychologist.

But through experience, this is one of the simplest hacks that improved the quality of my life.

5. Have fun

Lastly, HAVE FUN!

Life brings about some tough challenges.

To make it easier, look at the little things that make everything better.

I have been in a position where I have had fun during the most challenging times.

I did not ignore what was going on, but I gave it my best.

I knew everything I had to do was done, and I couldn’t do more.

What was left now? Having fun.

I made my favorite meal, watched my favorite movie, and did all my favorite things.

When it came, I did not know it because I was already in the frequency of it happening.

So, I did not need to worry if it had come.

Due to privacy reasons, I cannot disclose what it was.

But having fun made that period easier because I was focusing on what made me happy, not what wasn’t going right.

All in all, have fun as much as possible, even when the 3D world tells you that everything is going wrong.

You never know the good things your future holds. PS., the future begins every other minute J
