This post offers 7 best ideas for spending Easter alone and making the most of it.

Introduction

There are many reasons why someone can be alone for the Easter holiday.

It is a time people spend with their kids, families, or friends.

If you are alone, it does not have to be boring.

It can also be that you chose to be alone, and it is so refreshing to get to know yourself better.

Also, indulging in anything and everything you want to do does sound like a fun Easter alone time. Right?

Here are 7 things you can do for fun.

1. Gardening

Gardening is always so relaxing.

I find that whenever I go into the garden for a quick chives grab, I spend at least an hour there.

Honestly, I don’t know how that happens. But it keeps happening, every time.

With that said, I believe that gardening when you’re alone for Easter can be therapeutic.

Gardening will lift your spirits, and you’ll get extra vitamin D from the sun.

The fresh air, birds singing, the sunshine, and the breeze. Oh!

Let’s be frank; it is a fun exercise. That’s why you can’t tell how much time has passed.

You literally go into a portal and come out all happy.

This plus while heading to your kitchen to have some wine or favorite drink.

Connecting to nature is just on a whole other level. AND it’s a way to bring out your creativity.

This is because you will have to work with what you have. This and creative ways to co-plant.

2. Get yourself a bunch of Easter eggs and hot cross buns, and reflect

Do this while binge-watching your best shows and enjoying some hot cross buns on the side.

If you’re a chocolate lover, this holiday is a great excuse to indulge without worrying about the calories.

Getting yourself the Easter eggs and hot cross buns means you still get to do something Easter-related.

Also, look at the symbolism in it.

Eggs represent rebirth.

Being alone for Easter can be a great time to reflect on the gift of rebirth in your life.

But don’t be too hard on yourself if you don’t see rebirth in your life right now.

It doesn’t have to appear right away, or it can be that it already happened.

Either way, be happy with where you are in life.

If you feel that you ought to be somewhere else, ask yourself where the feelings are coming from.

They should be from a place of genuine need to be or do better.

And not from comparing yourself with others who seem to be ahead in life.

3. Make a delicious dinner

It doesn’t have to be something fancy.

Whip up something that you feel you really crave. It all depends on what you feel like making.

Or how much time you want to spend.

Honestly, I love some spicy ramen.

So, if I don’t feel like doing too much, this is what I’d normally go for.

But, if I feel a little bit extra, I love to make Indian flatbread with a side of stewed peas with carrots and potatoes.

I Stan this combination. Seriously, you can never go wrong with it.

And now I’m salivating just thinking about it. I must cook it as soon as I post this.

Whatever meal you choose, ease it down with your wine of choice.

Update: about 5 hours later, here I am.

I couldn’t wait till I write the post to the end to make that wholesome meal, ha ha!

My belly is full, and I’m so sleepy. I enjoyed it.

4. Go for a hike with your dog

Imagine hiking with your furry baby! How fun!

I mean, it is good for both of you.

The different elements of nature can bring about excitement.

Imagine the smells, sounds, and everything else you get to see on the way and at your destination.

You’ll also not be alone.

Being alone for Easter has never sounded any better. You get to do a ton of fun walking.

Plus, the dog won’t need to be carried because they love the exercise. Well, unless you totally feel like carrying them, that’s okay too!

But be sure to choose a hiking trail that fits best with them.

The hike will excite your dog, and this will be their happy little Easter hiking experience, too.

5. Self-care day

Little things focused on YOU will definitely make Easter even better.

Spending Easter alone can be your self-care treat.

Be in a calm space and do something healthy you love for your physical or mental health.

First things first, if you’re not a morning person like me, you can sleep in.

If you do more or better in the morning, you can wake up early.

Self-care can be anything you like, something that takes care of YOU.

For instance, you can have a gratitude journal and write all the things you are grateful for.

They can be in any timeline you want, even the first quarter of the year.

Also, you can detox from social media. It’s Easter anyway.

Endless scrolling will only hinder you from doing the activities you want to try.

This is because you’ll be engrossed in what others are doing for Easter.

Honestly, this is miserable from every angle.

If you’ve always wanted to go to the amusement park, do it. A morning walk, yes! The lake, do it. The beach, go ahead.

Whatever you want that can fill your mind, body, and spirit.

You can also look for a beauty treatment you always wanted and indulge.

After all, Easter alone means no rules; no one’s watching anyway, lol. Just have fun!

6. Try crazy things you have never tried before alone for Easter

In the spirit of rebirth, try something new that you have never been able to try.

I’m sure there might be a million things you have never tried before because you had to compromise.

Now that you are alone for Easter, IT IS TIME.

There are many things that can fall under the definition of crazy.

It all depends on perspective.

What might be crazy to you might be a norm for someone else.

So don’t be afraid to try it for fear of failing at it.

Ask yourself, “What is it that I’ve never done during Easter that I’ve always wanted to do?”

And there lies your answer.

I cannot suggest a specific thing because we are all unique and diverse individuals who enjoy different things.

But, what I can say is do you.

Literally be the ‘you of your dreams,’ well, in that moment of craziness, at the very least.

You can look at Easter as a time to start a period of new life.

It makes total sense because the first quarter of the year is already gone.

You can divide the remaining months into 3 sets of 3 months and set specific goals for each.

All in all, what you consider to be spontaneous, crazy, or just something different is worth trying this Easter.

7. Indulge in hobbies

Hobbies, hobbies, hobbies!

I mean, everyone has at least one hobby they absolutely love.

If you don’t, that’s fine.

You are alone for Easter and have a long weekend on your hands.

Try at least one thing that you feel comfortable doing.

Painting, DIY projects, riding the bike, reading, and everything else.

Find what you love and get the most out of your alone time this Easter.

Or, in true Easter spirit, paint some hard-boiled eggs. Bring your creativity out.

If you want to go the extra mile and hide them, go ahead!

You can find them later, or at least pretend to since you already know where you hid them.

Anyway, the point is to do a hobby that you’ll enjoy.

It can be as simple as a puzzle game or, as earlier discussed, gardening.

So, whatever you do, remember that you are the priority and you MUST enjoy yourself.

Conclusion

Now that you have some of my best tips, you can try some (or all) and see how everything goes.
